with heavy hearts . . .

In the late morning after leaving our luggage in the guest house, we went to visit the Genocide Museum "Tuol Sleng".
This is a former high school which was turned into a prison during the time of Khmer Rouge.

This place was then reconfigured to a place where detention, interrogation, inhuman torture, and killing after confession from the detainees were received and documented.

We saw many photos describing the Khmer Rouge and how the Cambodians were tortured by the regime..

We came out the museum with heavy hearts. Speechless.

" Why would humans go to such an extend to kill so many fellow people? "
(20, 000 people were killed, not including childrens killed)

" Would this history that happened 30 years ago affect the current generation, especially when they need to think about how to go about their daily lives? Survival issues. "
God loves them as well. No matter what, everyone needs Jesus the Saviour.
He is mighty to save.
